Our production includes many units and accessories for the marine trasmission fitting the various high-level boat's caractheristics thanks to the flexibility to the main application commonly usedand to the costant cooperation we have been devolping with some important ship-builders and competent dealers. To get this goal, and keep our aim always straight, each component we manufacture is first carefully conceived and designed; then strictly realized with high quality standards selecting both the materials then the working-process. These costant requirements grant to each unit the best features for safety and security (highly meaningful for every kind of marine transmission) and allow the best endurance to the group containing repairings and maintenance costs.
SHAFT LINES
They are realized in different version with features right to every boat and ship, always produced with reliable materials. The propeller shaft is made of stainless steel Aisi 316 or Aisi 630 accurately worked and whit bearing grinded surfaces. The stern tube is formed by components of high-tensile brass with high-resistance to corrosion; the parts are linked by threaded couplings, then easy to remove. The bushes are with a rubber inside and lubricated through the stern tube by the natural water's circulation; phenolik or antifrictional bearings toghether with relative grease can be also provided. We produce different system of seal for the propeller shaft, from the classic adjustable stuffing-box with the lubricated set of fibre rings, to the new mechanical groups: the TDL, inner bearing with dual lip and the frontal seal TMF suitable to support axial and angular alignment. Other details are made of stainless steel: bolts and screws are in Aisi 304, while the keys are in Aisi 316.
With the shaft lines we produce reduction-reversing gears with hydraulic drive, "V" drives and universal joints shafts. Also these units are made with the same
constructive conceptions said about the shaft lines, while about specific
characteristics, we refer to the smail description on the pages of eachone.
We recall our flexible couplings designed to specific employment in ships
transmissions, too; the high capacity of torsional vibrations absorbing, the
good adaptability to inevitable mistakes of alignment between the units to
link (reduction-gear with propeller shaft), the adequate safety's coefficient
and the functionality ot design, make these articles useful components to
transmissions of sure operation and to the best comfort of sailing, characteristics
who every ship made today must have plentifully.
This catalog has the object to explain schematically the articles of our production
with description
necessarily succint, although every would request a more exhaustive treatmant; yet more informations and plans about laying, use, maintenance
and spare parts, will be given readily to all concerned. This publication,
moreover, explain our standard production, while, the flexibility of our
plants allow us to study and to make also specials on request of the customer
or particular versions of standard articles.
